The BCL3766 controller is the most important part of the fiber optic cutter control system. It enables the correct operation of the device, coordinates the operation of components, including motors, sensors, other controllers.

The BCL3766 external I/O card is installed using a bus, or can be permanently installed. It has a DM62M and DB37M interface on two sides, which corresponds to JP1 and JP2 of the BMC1604V2 control board.
